At Werenfridus, starting in the spring of 2027, we are looking for a Dutch teacher who understands that our subject goes beyond just the d\/t rules. We are looking for someone who will show\n students in lower and upper secondary schools (havo\/vwo) that language is the key to the world. Whether it\u2019s a sharp debate, a beautiful literary analysis, or strengthening our students\u2019 basic skills: you bring the Dutch language to life.<\/em><br>\n<br>\n<strong>What will you do?<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li>You teach our A-levels and VWO students.<\/li><li>You will become part of a close-knit group of professionals.<\/li><li>You are a \u2018host or hostess\u2019 in the classroom: you create a safe base within which students take control of their own learning process (formative work).<\/li><\/ul>\n<em>Initially, this is a temporary position until March 2027 (after the spring break), but there is the possibility of a permanent position.&nbsp;<\/em><br>\n<br>\n<strong>Working at Werenfridus<\/strong><br>\nTabor College Werenfridus is a school for (bilingual) HAVO, Atheneum and Gymnasium.<br>\nOur modern building is divided into learning rooms and study areas, creating a personal and cozy atmosphere. Together with the team leader, the team is responsible for the educational outcomes and the pedagogical-didactic approach within the department. We work with five teams: the foundation year, lower secondary (HAVO and VWO), and upper secondary (HAVO and VWO). Based on your affinity with the target group and the organisation's needs, you will be assigned to a team in consultation.<br>\n<br>\n<strong>School plan<\/strong><br>\nThe foundation of our school plan is supporting students to become involved, independent and motivated global citizens. We want to do this by providing meaningful education with a strong emphasis on formative practices and the basic skills of language\n and mathematics, digital literacy, and citizenship.&nbsp;<br>\n<br>\n<strong>What do we expect from you?<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>You (almost) possess a first- or second-degree qualification in the subject of Dutch.<\/strong><\/li><li>You are an educator at heart. You see the students and the students see you.
