Someone who is eager to be there for the students, has an eye for what they need, and works with the team to find what works.<\/p><p>Within our school, students have different educational and support needs. Therefore, we believe in an approach that suits the student and the situation. Sometimes the need lies primarily in the subject matter (individually or in groups), but sometimes more attention is needed for behavior, reflection, or personal development.\u00a0<\/p><p><strong>What will you do?<\/strong><\/p><p>As an educational assistant in the upper secondary vocational education program, you provide support where it is most needed at that moment. Your work is varied and may vary per lesson hour, such as:<\/p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Individual guidance of students in the subject matter and the processing of assignments.<\/li><li>Supporting students during instruction in the classroom.<\/li><li>Guiding small groups of students.<\/li><li>Encouraging independence, task-oriented work and taking responsibility for the own learning process.<\/li><li>Offering support sessions after school so that students have the opportunity to complete their schoolwork and receive appropriate support along the way.<\/li><\/ul><p>You tailor your mentoring to the needs of the students and work together with teachers and other colleagues in this process. You can switch between different roles: from providing substantive support to coaching and guiding in behavior and work habits.<\/p><p>In addition, we would like to discuss with you how we can further shape the support within the upper secondary education and make it more relevant to what our students need.<\/p><p><strong>Who are we looking for?<\/strong><\/p><p>We are looking for someone who:<\/p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Affinity has to do with VWO students and their development.<\/li><li>Be patient, flexible, and clear in your interactions with students.<\/li><li>It can be adapted to meet various educational and support needs.<\/li><li>Students can be motivated and encouraged to take responsibility.<\/li><li>You can work both independently and in collaboration with teachers.<\/li><li>I enjoy participating in discussions about appropriate support and opportunities for students.<\/li><\/ul><p>Experience in guiding young people and knowledge of pedagogical and didactic support needs are a plus.<\/p><p><strong>What do we offer?<\/strong><\/p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>A varied role in which you directly contribute to the development of our students.<\/li><li>A place within an involved team in the upper secondary vocational education.<\/li><li>Space to further shape the support together with colleagues.<\/li><li>An appointment of approximately\u00a0<strong>0.6 FTE<\/strong>, With Monday, Tuesday and Thursday as possible working days.<\/li><li>A position within PSG as\u00a0<strong>Educational Assistant B, scale 6<\/strong>.<\/li><\/ul><p><strong>Interested?<\/strong><\/p><p>Do you want to contribute to a learning environment where students receive the support they need to progress?
