We are looking for an enthusiastic dean for the secondary vocational school department.<\/strong><br>\n<br>\n<strong>What will you do?<\/strong><br>\nYou shape and direct our Career Orientation and Guidance (LOB) policy at the lower secondary school (mavo). Mavo students are required to actively engage in LOB; you not only help them with their profile and further choice (such as the transition to the mbo or the havo), but also\n truly teach them to \u2018choose learning\u2019 based on the five career competencies.<br>\n<br>\n<strong>Tasks and responsibilities<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li>Continuing education program &amp; mavo program: You develop and secure a coherent LOB program for the mavo (and mavo\/havo classes). You organize mavo-specific activities, such as the mbo visit and the vocational training market.&nbsp;<\/li><li>First- and second-line support: As a second-line expert, you are the point of contact for students and parents regarding complex choices, profile choices, and transition processes. In addition, you mentor and support the mentors in their role as first-line LOB support staff.&nbsp;<\/li><li>Verbinding &amp; Dalton: You form a close partnership with the team leaders (including around subject packages) and with the dean of the vocational secondary school\/upper secondary school. You seek connections with the Citizenship and KIC working group, and actively contribute to our Dalton concept (in which your role as dean is crucial).\n is stimulating, coaching and facilitating).<\/li><li>Networking &amp; Quality: You maintain close contact with further education institutions (mbo\/havo), the regional dean\u2019s council and other external parties. You regularly coordinate with the responsible portfolio holder within the school management.<\/li><li>Teaching: Because we believe it is important that you fully understand our students and the dynamics within the team, you will also teach MAVO classes.<\/li><\/ul>\n<br>\n<strong>Size &amp; Deployment<\/strong><br>\nThis involves a task of approximately 0.3 FTE \/ 500 hours, combined with your lessons\/tasks. The final FTE amount is agreed upon in consultation and depends on the number of lessons you teach.<br>\n<br>\n<strong>Working at Oscar Romero<\/strong><br>\nOscar Romero is a school for secondary education (mavo, havo and vwo) in Hoorn. No worries, we will guide you in this.<br>\n<br>\n<strong>What do we expect from you?<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li>You are already working as a teacher and have a passion for LOB and the target group of Mavo.<\/li><li>Your <strong>has a first or second-grade teaching qualification<\/strong>.<\/li><li>You have a clear vision of the autonomous development of VWO students, coaching education, working with career competencies and 360-degree feedback.<\/li><li>You are highly organized, a good communicator, and able to inspire and guide mentors.<\/li><\/ul>\n<strong>What do you get from us?<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Salary &amp; Benefits<\/strong> A salary in line with the secondary education (VO) collective labour agreement, matching your current scale and experience.
