\nYou are an important link within our school. You work closely with school leaders, mentors, teachers, student counsellors and other professionals, ensuring that support is well aligned with what happens in the classroom on a daily basis. You are visible,\n accessible and know what is going on.
\nAt the same time, you maintain oversight. You coordinate support, monitor processes and agreements, and ensure that it is clear who is responsible for what. You bring the right people together and ensure that the agreements made are actually\n followed up.

\nWhat will you do?<\/strong>
\nAs a support coordinator, you take the lead in managing the internal and external support within RSG Enkhuizen. You don\u2019t have to do everything yourself. Your strength lies in organizing, connecting, coordinating, and monitoring the support.
\nYou are the central point of contact who maintains overview and ensures coherence between all involved parties. The function profile explicitly specifies the coordination of the support team, the support for external courses, and the operational coordination\n of student advisors.

\nYour duties will include:<\/strong>\n
    \n
  • You coordinate the support of students who need extra support and provide support and advice to school leaders, mentors, teachers and student counsellors.<\/li>
  • You ensure a strong connection between the support team and the day-to-day teaching practice, and maintain active contact with mentors and teachers.<\/li>
  • You monitor processes, agreements, and progress, and ensure that those involved know what is expected of them.<\/li>
  • You attend MDO meetings and other relevant meetings and coordinate the work involved, including reporting, follow-up on agreements, and contact with external parties.<\/li>
  • You play an active role in the development and progress of inclusive education and advise the school leadership on this matter.<\/li>
  • You analyze the results and effects of the support and translate developments into proposals for improving the support policy. <\/li>
  • You maintain contacts with external partners, such as the cooperation association, the school guidance team, youth and school coaches, youth care services, the Public Health Service and the Mental Health Service.<\/li>
  • You ask the cooperation association for (extra-curricular) arrangements where necessary.<\/li>
  • You inform and advise parents\/caregivers and primary schools about support options.<\/li>
  • You advise on the admission of students with special support needs and contribute to a smooth (warm) transition.<\/li>
  • You contribute your expertise to the professionalization of colleagues and to the further development of the support structure within the school.<\/li><\/ul>\nConnecting is an important part of your role<\/strong>
    \nGood student support is crucial to us, and it depends on the connection between support and education. That\u2019s why we\u2019re looking for someone who works not only within the support team, but is right in the middle of the school itself.
    \nYou actively seek mentors and teachers, listen to what they need, and help them further based on your expertise. You make complex support requests accessible and bring people together when different perspectives or expertise are\n needed.
    \nIn doing so, you can also be clear. You dare to set direction, assign responsibilities, and call out colleagues for their commitments, while maintaining good cooperation and relationships.
    \nThe existing function profile underscores that connective role: the support coordinator maintains contacts with, among others, student advisors, the support team, teachers, parents\/caregivers, the management, external support professionals, and other support professionals.
