The function
<\/strong>As an HVAC Engineering lecturer, you deliver lessons in vocationally oriented and supporting subjects across various HVAC engineering programmes, ranging from level 2 fitter programmes to level 4 technician programmes. In addition, you teach elective modules. You act as a mentor for a group, guiding students through their academic progress and the development of their professional attitude, both at the college and in the workplace. You are willing to teach one or two evenings a week.<\/p>

About the team
<\/strong>The training programmes of the Building Services Engineering team are firmly rooted vocational courses in the region with strong collaboration with practical training providers such as IW Noord-Holland and GoFlex. Our education is delivered via the day-release (BBL) route, which means students attend college one day a week and work four days at an approved training company. Our BBL courses are at levels 2, 3 and 4.
Over the coming years we will still be busy with our educational development and team development. Part of the teaching team has a background in the corporate sector. Partly because of this, the connection with professional practice is clearly tangible in the study programme. Collaboration with the corporate sector is well organised through both close cooperation with practical trainers and the deployment of a work placement supervisor.
We conduct part of the Practical Proficiency Tests at the work placements. Due to the variety of training programmes and subjects and the size of the team, good collaboration is extremely important. We are looking for a new, active and enthusiastic team player.<\/p>

Your profile
<\/strong>You have a passion for education and know how to create a safe environment in which you creatively offer education to students in various ways. You are adept at handling the diversity of our student population. Our students are between 16 and 56 years old, have a great need for guidance or very little, and combine work and study. You know what your class needs and are able to differentiate according to the student's needs.<\/p>


You are a team player and know what professional practice expects from our students. You make a positive contribution to our curriculum development. At the same time, we appreciate a bit of humour and light-heartedness as a nice bonus. You can further maintain the good contacts we have with the business community.<\/p>


To teach in vocational education (mbo), you must hold a completed higher professional education (hbo) teaching qualification or a pedagogical-didactic certificate. Do not have a qualification yet?
