You form an indispensable part of our learning community. Together with your colleagues, you build the best possible education for our pupils. We are a small-scale school, big on connectedness. And as a teacher of English, you are part of that.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Your duties<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>At least as important as teaching well: your contribution as a subject specialist to the development of our education. Of course, you do not do this alone, but together with your colleagues from the subject section and other colleagues. Cross-subject collaboration goes without saying here. For example, we do this to the full during our Huygens Days. We also give you the freedom and space to spend part of your working week on other tasks, such as personal development.<\/p>\n<p>Your duties will include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>deliver English lessons (21 teaching hours in the HAVO\/VWO lower school team);<\/li>\n<li>Contribute to the personal development of your students;<\/li>\n<li>(possibly) fulfil a mentoring role for your mentor class;<\/li>\n<li>strengthening the continuous learning line together with colleagues from the subject section;<\/li>\n<li>providing customised hours (teaching small groups of students who need more guidance or more challenge).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Job requirements<\/h2>We are looking for a qualified teacher. In addition to your qualifications, we consider it important that you:<br \/><br \/>- be an addition to the collegial working atmosphere that characterises our school;<br \/>- sees feedback as an important tool to keep growing and innovating;<br \/>- really involved in the development of our students, in terms of knowledge but also personally.<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Employment conditions<\/h2><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">An appointment as a teacher scale LB\/LC\/LD (horizontal salary grading based on current\/most recent position) ASAP with a workload of 0.84 FTE.<\/p>\n<p>It concerns temporary cover until 31 July 2027.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, we offer:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>salaries and terms of employment in accordance with the CAO VO collective agreement, including holiday pay and a year-end bonus of 8.33%, an attractive commuting allowance (kilometres exceeding 25 km one way are now also reimbursed after the first year) and car exchange schemes;<\/li>\n<li>Personal budget of 90 hours for full-time employment;<\/li>\n<li>generous lesson storage.
