We are looking for an English teacher to join our team during a colleague's maternity leave. The cover period runs from 19 October 2026 to 23 April 2027 inclusive. Are you enthusiastic about working with our vocational and higher secondary (mavo\/havo) pupils and becoming part of a dedicated and friendly team? If so, we would love to meet you.<br>\n<br>\nFor the English subject, we are looking for an inspired teacher who knows how to enthuse pupils for the subject and who enjoys collaborating. Someone who wants to think along with colleagues about the further development of the subject content, is passionate in the classroom and practical in execution. In short: an English teacher who cares deeply about the subject and wants to build further towards contemporary and meaningful education together with colleagues.<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Job requirements<\/h2>We offer our pupils an education in which you, as an English teacher, lay a solid foundation in general knowledge and skills. In addition, pupils receive education in the field of citizenship (think of debate skills, philosophy, humanist education). In our vision, citizenship is so crucial that we want to place great emphasis on it. We train critical citizens who are not afraid to question matters. In addition, we also want to pay a great deal of attention to inclusivity. We want to work on empathy. Debating, drama, and Deep Democracy support this.<br>\n<br>\nAt our school, we offer education in heterogeneous mavo-havo groups in the lower years.
