Then we are looking for you.<br>\nWe are looking for an English teacher for our small-scale school on Texel. You will teach pupils in the lower years of vmbo &amp; mavo and will make a significant contribution to their language development and self-confidence.<br>\n<br>\n<strong>What will you do?<\/strong><br>\nAs an English teacher, you deliver lessons to pupils across various educational levels. You know how to motivate students and make the English language accessible, challenging, and relevant.<br>\nYour responsibilities include:\n<ul>\n<li><br>\ndelivering inspiring and engaging English lessons;<\/li><li>developing speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills;<\/li><li>differentiating within the classroom and responding to different learning needs;<\/li><li>supporting pupils in their development and learning process;<\/li><li>Working with colleagues within the Modern Foreign Languages section and the teaching team;<\/li><li>contributing to the further development of education.<\/li><\/ul>\n<strong>Who are you?<\/strong><br>\nYou are a dedicated teacher who enjoys teaching and knows how to challenge students to bring out the best in themselves. You create a safe learning environment where students feel seen and can develop.<br>\n&nbsp;<br>\nAdditionally:\n<ul>\n<li>Do you have a second-grade teaching qualification in English, or are you in the process of completing one?;<\/li><li>Do you have an affinity with VMBO and MAVO pupils?;<\/li><li>Are you strong in terms of teaching and pedagogy?;<\/li><li>Can you respond well to the differences between pupils?;<\/li><li>Do you enjoy working in a small, close-knit team?.<\/li><\/ul>\nNewly qualified teachers and those in the final stages of their teacher training are also warmly invited to apply.<br>\n<br>\n<strong>What do we offer?<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li>An appointment of 0.26 \u2013 0.43 FTE.<\/li><li>Scales in scale LB in accordance with the Collective Labour Agreement for Secondary Education.<\/li><li>A pleasant and collegial working environment with short lines of communication.<\/li><li>Room for professional development and personal initiative.<\/li><li>Working at a unique location where peace, nature, and education come together.<\/li><li>Support with finding (temporary) accommodation on Texel.<\/li><\/ul>\n<strong>Interested?<\/strong><br>\nCan you see yourself teaching on Texel and would you like to contribute to the development of our pupils?
