Since last academic year, we have been working according to a new educational concept where theory and practice are almost completely integrated. The school functions as a mini-society where students learn by working on real assignments for real enterprises\/companies. Theory lessons also take place in the practical classroom, simultaneously and integrated. For example, students learn arithmetic by operating a till or calculating quantities for a cake recipe or garden layout. And working with language involves communicating with real customers, live, by phone or email.<\/p>\n

Your duties<\/strong><\/p>\n In our mini-society, pupils from different year groups work together simultaneously in a world of their choice: Hospitality & Bakery, Services & Care, Greenery & Floristry, Technology, Shop & Logistics or Simulation House. The Arts & Culture world is still under development.<\/p>\n The world of Green & Flower is your domain. Within this world, three businesses are set up: landscape gardener, garden maintenance, and florist. The students work on various projects, such as creating borders, organising a plant market, working in a flower shop, or working in a vegetable garden. They also write quotes for customers and carry out cashier duties in the shop. Theory and practice are thus integrated. In your world, you therefore work alongside various teachers simultaneously.<\/p>\n The Green & Bloom world is still very much in development. There is therefore plenty of room for new ideas and initiatives, for which we need your knowledge and commitment. Work in the worlds is typically done in the mornings, with afternoons that can be dedicated to educational development, among other things.
