At praktijkschool Focus, we believe that everyone, regardless of their starting point, can grow with the right guidance and challenges. Since last academic year, we have been working according to a new educational concept in which theory and practice are almost completely integrated. The school functions as a mini-society where students learn by doing, on real assignments, in real enterprises\/companies. Theory lessons also take place in the practical classroom, simultaneously and integrated. For example, students learn arithmetic by calculating at the checkout or converting quantities for a cake recipe or for landscaping a garden. Then apply now!<\/p>\n<p><strong>Your duties<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In our mini-society, pupils from different year groups work concurrently in a world of their choice: Hospitality &amp; Bakery, Services &amp; Care, Greenery &amp; Flowers, Technology, Shop &amp; Logistics, or Simulated Home. The Arts &amp; Culture world will launch next year, but is still under development.<\/p>\n<p>As a teaching assistant, you support teachers in the classes. You have a versatile range of duties and offer support before, during and after lessons. For example, you are involved in lesson preparations so that the lessons themselves run smoothly and you help groups of students with their work, either independently or collaboratively.<\/p>\n<p>Preferred working days, in order of priority, are Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Thursday.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Job requirements<\/h2>We are looking for a qualified teaching assistant.
