The function
<\/span><\/strong>Are you a professional in the field of enforcement, supervision, or security and do you want to pass on your knowledge and experience to the next generation? Then we are looking for you! For our Enforcement, Supervision & Security (HTV) programme, part of the Hospitality, Events & Security (HES) sector, we are looking for an enthusiastic and committed lecturer. In this role, you will guide students who are preparing for a career in the public safety domain, such as enforcement, supervision, public order, and security. You will deliver inspiring and practice-oriented lessons in the areas of laws and regulations, supervision, enforcement, communication, and professional skills. Thanks to your experience from the field, you know how to connect theory and practice in an engaging way. You will create a safe and stimulating learning environment in which students can develop both personally and professionally. In addition to delivering lessons, you can become a mentor for a class. As a mentor, you are the first point of contact for students and will guide them throughout their studies. You will also perform one or more secondary tasks within the team, matching your expertise and interests. This could include curriculum development, examination, quality assurance, work placement guidance or the organisation of activities and projects. Together with your colleagues, you will actively contribute to the further development and quality of education and the programme.

About the team
<\/span><\/strong>The Handhaving, Toezicht & Veiligheid (Enforcement, Supervision & Safety) course is a full-time vocational training course (BOL) and is part of the Hospitality, Events & Security (HES) sector. Within this sector, there is close collaboration between various security-focused courses. The team consists of committed colleagues with diverse backgrounds in the security domain. Many staff members have practical experience in enforcement, policing, defence, security, or other uniformed professions. Together, we work on contemporary and practice-oriented education, with a central focus on the connection to the field of work. This is how we optimally prepare students for a future within the broad security domain.<\/span><\/p>

Your profile<\/span><\/strong><\/p>

We are looking for a colleague who can inspire students and prepare them for a future in the field of Enforcement, Supervision & Security. You will bring up-to-date knowledge and practical experience, and have an affinity for secondary vocational education (mbo) and the development of young professionals. You preferably have a relevant teaching qualification for mbo. Candidates with a teaching qualification are strongly preferred. If you do not yet have a teaching qualification, but have extensive and relevant experience in the security domain and the motivation to become a teacher, we also invite you to apply.<\/span><\/p>
