We are looking for an enthusiastic, practice-oriented and passionate Security Lecturer\/Instructor. Do you have experience within the security industry, do you enjoy working with young people and do you want to pass on your professional knowledge to the next generation of security professionals? Then we would love to meet you.<br><\/span><\/p><p><strong><span>The function<br><\/span><\/strong><span>Within our growing security training courses; Law Enforcement, Supervision and Security, and Private Security Guard, you will play an important role in the development of future professionals. Whether you are teaching within the Private Security Guard course or within Law Enforcement, Supervision and Security (HTV), you will bring the practical side into the classroom and know how to inspire, motivate and challenge students.<\/span><\/p><p class=\"isSelectedEnd\"><span>With your knowledge and experience, you bridge the gap between theory and professional practice. You not only teach students the vocational skills required in the field, but also contribute to their professional attitude, resilience, responsibility, and personal development. You will join a committed and enthusiastic team with a strong connection to the security domain. Although each programme has its own profile, we work together as one team on high-quality, practice-oriented education. Together, we are shaping tomorrow's education for the safety professionals of the future.<\/span><br><\/p><p><span>Your duties<\/span><\/p><ul><li><p><span>Providing practical and theoretical lessons within the Private Security training courses (full-time and part-time vocational training).;<\/span><\/p><\/li><li><p><span>provision of practical and theory lessons within the Law Enforcement, Supervision and Safety (BOL) programme;<\/span><\/p><\/li><li><p><span>guiding students in their professional and personal development;<\/span><\/p><\/li><li><p><span>Identify learning and behavioural issues and act on them appropriately;<\/span><\/p><\/li><li><p><span>Collaborate with colleagues within the team and contribute to the further development of education;<\/span><\/p><\/li><li><p><span>Perform team side tasks appropriate to your experience and expertise.<\/span><\/p><\/li><\/ul><p><p><strong><span>About the team<\/span><\/strong><\/p><p><span>The Private Security Officer training consists of a full-time vocational training (BOL) and a dual learning pathway (BBL). BBL students combine work and study, attending classes one day per week. The Private Security Officer team comprises approximately 14 staff members and works closely with the Enforcement, Supervision &amp; Safety training. In total, the team includes about 22 colleagues, many of whom have experience in uniformed professions. The team is characterised by its commitment, diversity in background and vision, and a shared responsibility for the quality of education.<\/span><\/p><h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Job requirements<\/h2><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><span>Your profile<\/span><\/strong><\/p><p class=\"MsoNormal\"><span>You are a stable and reflective professional with an affinity for working with young people in vocational education. You possess a well-developed pedagogical compass and know how to combine structure, clarity, and engagement. You are open to development and innovation within education and make a valuable contribution to the programme from your own experience. A formal teaching qualification is not a requirement, but is strongly preferred; candidates from the professional field with experience in instruction, training, or guidance, or demonstrable affinity with knowledge transfer, are also explicitly invited to apply. You recognise yourself in the following:<\/span><\/p><ul><li><p class=\"MsoNormal\"><span>You have a subject-specific foundation, possibly with a focus or specialism, and are broadly deployable within education;<\/span><\/p><\/li><\/ul><ul><li><p class=\"MsoNormal\"><span>you feel at home in an evolving and collaborative training environment;<\/span><\/p><\/li><li><p class=\"MsoNormal\"><span>you can connect to the lifeworld of MBO students and deal with diverse learning needs;<\/span><\/p><\/li><li><p class=\"MsoNormal\"><span>You have up-to-date knowledge of or experience within the security domain or a related field.<\/span><\/p><\/li><\/ul><p class=\"MsoNormal\"><p class=\"MsoNormal\"><em><span>A plus is demonstrable experience or competence in:<\/span><\/em><\/p><ul><li><p class=\"MsoNormal\"><span>Fire Safety;<\/span><\/p><\/li><li><p class=\"MsoNormal\"><span>OSINT and\/or AI;<\/span><\/p><\/li><li><p><span>Museum security;<\/span><\/p><\/li><li><p><span>Port and Haven Security;<\/span><\/p><\/li><li><p class=\"MsoNormal\"><span>Drones or other relevant complementary specialisms.<\/span><\/p><\/li><\/ul><p><p><strong><span>Our offer<\/span><\/strong><span><br>The field of work and your profession are constantly changing.
