Of course, you do not do this alone, but together with your colleagues from the subject section and other colleagues. Cross-subject collaboration goes without saying here. For example, we do this to the full during our Huygens Days. We also give you the freedom and space to spend part of your working week on other tasks, such as personal development.<\/p>\n<p>Your duties will include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>to teach your subject to VMBO-TL\/HAVO students in years 1 to 3;<br \/>\nContribute to the personal development of your students;<\/li>\n<li>fulfilling a mentor role for your mentee group, this is an option. Mentoring experience is then a plus;<\/li>\n<li>strengthening the continuous learning line together with colleagues from the subject section;<\/li>\n<li>providing customised hours (teaching small groups of students who need more guidance or more challenge).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If you become our new colleague, we will organise an induction programme for you in the first year so that you can really settle in well. Together with your two coaches for general and subject-specific guidance, you will then discover everything the Huygens College has to offer you.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Job requirements<\/h2>We are looking for a teacher with a second-degree qualification in French, or a student teacher (LIO placement) for Year 4 French studies.<br \/><br \/>Furthermore, we consider it important that you:<br \/><br \/>- be an addition to the collegial working atmosphere that characterises our school;<br \/>- sees feedback as an important tool to keep growing and innovating;<br \/>- really involved in the development of our students, in terms of knowledge but also personally.<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Employment conditions<\/h2><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">An appointment as a teacher LB\/LC (horizontal scaling from current\/last position) effective 17 August 2026 with a scope of 0.52 fte.<\/p>\n<p>This is a temporary appointment, no later than the end of the school year.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, we offer:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Salary and working conditions according to the CAO VO, including holiday allowance, end-of-year bonus of 8.33%, attractive commuting allowance (kilometres over 25 km one way are now also reimbursed after the first year) and trade-off arrangements;<\/li>\n<li>Personal budget of 90 hours for full-time employment;<\/li>\n<li>generous lesson storage.
