In addition, we give you the freedom and space to devote part of your working week to other tasks, such as educational development or mentoring tasks.<\/p>\n<p>Your duties as a teacher will include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>To provide English lessons in classes 2 kader\/tl and 2 vwo, havo 3, 3 and 4 vmbo-tl and a language class;<\/li>\n<li>Contribute to the personal development of your students;<\/li>\n<li>(possibly) be a coach\/mentor for a number of students;<\/li>\n<li>strengthening the continuous learning line together with colleagues from the subject section;<\/li>\n<li>(possibly) providing a dalton hour (elective work time for pupils who need more guidance or more challenge).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If you become our new colleague, we'll organise an onboarding programme for you for the first year so that you can really settle in well. Together with a teaching coach and your buddy from the department, you'll discover everything that the Stedelijk Dalton College Alkmaar has to offer you.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Job requirements<\/h2>We are looking for a second-grade teacher. In addition to your qualification, we believe it is important that you:<br \/><br \/>- be an addition to the collegial working atmosphere that characterises our school;<br \/>- sees feedback as an important tool to keep growing and innovating;<br \/>- really involved in the development of our students, in terms of knowledge but also personally.<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Employment conditions<\/h2><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This concerns a position as an LB lecturer (maximum \u20ac5,520 for a full-time employment) from 1 October 2026, or sooner if possible, with a scope of 0.6 FTE.<\/p>\n<p>Appointment until the end of the school year with a view to a permanent contract if suitable and sufficient staff vacancies exist<\/p>\n<p>In addition, we offer:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Salary and working conditions according to the CAO VO, including holiday allowance, end-of-year bonus of 8.33%, attractive commuting allowance (kilometres over 25 km one way are now also reimbursed after the first year) and trade-off arrangements;<\/li>\n<li>Personal budget of 90 hours for full-time employment;<\/li>\n<li>generous lesson storage.
