Can you get students excited about hospitality, serving, and working in the catering industry? Then we are looking for you.<br>\n&nbsp;<br>\nAt Forta, pupils learn primarily by doing. Within our hospitality department, they practise skills suitable for working in waiting on. For example, they learn to greet guests, set tables, take orders, serve, and collaborate. In doing so, they also develop their independence, self-confidence, and employability skills.<br>\n&nbsp;<br>\n<strong>What will you do?<\/strong><br>\nYou provide practical hospitality lessons, with an emphasis on serving and waiting. It's possible that in the future, there will be an opportunity to also provide some lessons in the kitchen. In addition, you teach a number of lessons outside your own area of expertise.<br>\n&nbsp;<br>\nAn important part of the role is our Les Caf\u00e9. This is a real learning environment within the school, where pupils learn to make cappuccinos, serve drinks, set tables and welcome guests, among other things.<br>\n&nbsp;<br>\nIn addition, you will be a mentor to a third-year class. You will guide the pupils in their development and will be the point of contact for pupils, parents\/carers, and colleagues involved.<br>\nYou:\n<ul>\n<li>provides practical and varied lessons in hospitality, serving and waiting<\/li><li>runs the Les Caf\u00e9 together with the cooking teacher and the pupils<\/li><li>Teaches pupils to work safely, hygienically and hospitably<\/li><li>Tune your lessons to the level and abilities of the pupils.<\/li><li>Mentors your class and maintains contact with parents\/carers and colleagues<\/li><li>develop assignments that align with real professional practice<\/li><li>Contributes to activities and developments within the school<\/li><\/ul><h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Job requirements<\/h2><strong>Who are you?<\/strong><br>\nYou enjoy working with young people and know how to motivate pupils, even when learning does not come easily. You are clear, patient, and consistent, and create a safe and positive atmosphere.<br>\nAdditionally:\n<ul>\n<li>Do you have a passion for practical education?<\/li><li>Do you have experience in hospitality, service, or customer relations?<\/li><li>Can you translate your knowledge into clear and practical lessons?<\/li><li>Are you creative, flexible, and broadly deployable?<\/li><li>Do you like to collaborate and take initiative?<\/li><li>Do you hold a relevant teaching qualification or are you willing to obtain one?<\/li><\/ul>\nExperience in practical education is a bonus, but not essential.
