Do you want to pass on your knowledge and skills to the new generation of hairstylists? Then we are looking for you!<br><strong>The function<br><\/strong>As a Hairdressing Teacher or Instructor, you are responsible for delivering practical and\/or theoretical lessons to Level 2 and Level 3 MBO (vocational education) students. You guide them in their development into professional hairstylists and help them grow both technically and personally. You combine your practical experience with didactic skills to create a safe and inspiring learning environment.<\/p><p>What will you do?<\/p><ul><li><p>(Independent) giving practical lessons in cutting, colouring, blow-drying and styling hair.<\/p><\/li><li><p>Providing theory lessons on trends, products, hygiene, health and safety in the hair salon (teacher)<\/p><\/li><li><p>developing teaching materials that align with practical application and current hairdressing trends;<\/p><\/li><li><p>coaching students in their personal and professional development;<\/p><\/li><li><p>monitoring of study progress and conducting progress meetings;<\/p><\/li><li><p>collaborating with colleagues within the programme and maintaining contact with the professional field.<\/p><\/li><\/ul><p class=\"MsoNormal\"><strong>About the team<br><\/strong>You will be working in an enthusiastic and engaged team of colleagues. There will be ample room for your experience and expertise to further develop the education we offer.<\/p><h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Job requirements<\/h2><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Your profile<\/strong><\/p><ul><li><p>You have extensive experience in hairdressing and\/or hair fashion;<\/p><\/li><li><p>You hold an instructor's or teaching qualification, or are willing to obtain one;<\/p><\/li><li><p>Experience in (vocational) education, preferably with teaching practical and\/or theoretical lessons and curriculum development, is an advantage;<\/p><\/li><li><p>You are able to motivate, stimulate and provide structure for students through your enthusiasm and commitment.;<\/p><\/li><li><p>You are flexible and empathetic, responding to the needs of students and changes in education and the workplace.;<\/p><\/li><li><p>You are a team player with a healthy sense of humour, who enjoys collaboration and takes initiative.<\/p><\/li><\/ul><p><strong>Our offer<br><\/strong>The field of work and your profession are constantly changing. If you do not have teaching qualifications for secondary vocational education, you will be placed in the salary scale of Teacher in scale LB (\u20ac3,713 to a maximum of \u20ac5,495 gross for a full-time appointment) or Instructor in scale 7 (\u20ac2,650 to a maximum of \u20ac3,920 gross based on a full-time appointment).
