Wij kijken uit naar jouw reactie.<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Employment conditions<\/h2>At SVOK, you fall under the CAO VO (Collective Labour Agreement for Secondary Vocational Education). Some terms of employment are already very well regulated in the CAO. In addition, SVOK offers a number of supplementary terms of employment. Below you will find an overview of what we offer you:\n<ul>\n<li><strong>A good basic salary<\/strong><br>\nDepending on your role, you will be in the scale for a teacher in LB, LC, or LD. The salary scales and corresponding amounts can be found in the CLA.<\/li><li><strong>8% holiday pay<\/strong><br>\nHoliday pay is accrued monthly and paid out in May.<\/li><li><strong>8.33% year-end bonus<\/strong><br>\nThe year-end bonus is accrued monthly and paid out in December.<\/li><li><strong>October allowance of 1640 euros<\/strong><br>\nEducational support staff (OOP) in salary scales 1 to 8 are entitled to an October allowance of 1640 euros (part-time staff pro rata). Teachers and educational support staff from scale 9 onwards receive an October allowance once they are at the top of their scale. The allowance is accrued monthly and paid annually in October.<\/li><li><strong>90 hours per year individual choice budget (individual holiday entitlement)<\/strong><br>\nYou are entitled to 90 IKB (Individual Choice Budget) hours per year. These hours can be used to make choices that positively contribute to long-term employability. The hours can also be saved\/paid out (in part).<\/li><li><strong>Group disability insurance<\/strong><br>\nIf you are unable to work for two years and are receiving a WGA benefit, you don't need to worry about your income. SVOK has taken out a disability insurance policy for all employees that prevents a significant drop in income and pays 50% of the premium.<\/li><li><strong>ABP pension<\/strong><br>\nThe ABP is one of the largest pension funds in the Netherlands. The premium you see on your payslip is only 30% of the amount actually paid into your pension. SVOK pays 70% of the pension premium.<\/li><li><strong>Possibility of purchasing a bicycle<\/strong><br>\nSVOK places great value on sustainability and vitality. Therefore, all employees are given the opportunity to purchase an (electric) bicycle so that their commute can be completed CO2-neutrally. The budget for the purchase of a bicycle is \u20ac1,500 and can be used once every five years.<\/li><li><strong>Professionalisation your way<\/strong><br>\nWhether you're at the start of your career or have years of experience: through the SVOK Academy, you can make use of a wide range of training sessions, workshops, meetings, and e-learnings. From in-depth professional development to personal growth, everything is geared towards helping you get the most out of yourself. You'll get access to a learning platform where you can learn at your own pace. Whatever your learning needs may be, at SVOK we're happy to think with you about how you can achieve them.<\/li><li><strong>A travel expense allowance<\/strong><br>\nOnce you live at least 8 kilometres from your work, you will receive a travel allowance of 0.23 cents per kilometre. After 12 months, the kilometre allowance will be capped at 25 kilometres one way. In return, there is a favourable relocation costs scheme and a tax relief scheme. The latter ensures that you receive a considerable tax benefit for every kilometre you travel for your commuting.<\/li><li><strong>Varied leave arrangements<\/strong><br>\nSituations requiring a good work-life balance often involve leave. The Collective Labour Agreement (CLA) pays considerable attention to this, for parents with children in the form of parental leave, and for seniors (57+) who can structurally reduce their working hours while maintaining pension accrual. With senior leave, holiday pay, year-end bonus, and October allowance are also accrued as if no leave were being taken. In addition, the CLA includes many situations involving short-term leave.<\/li><li><strong>Last but not least: free during the school holidays<\/strong><br>\nPerhaps the most attractive employee benefit of working in education is being free during the school holidays. Everyone on holiday at the same time, which means no overflowing inbox after your break.
