This is a three-day-a-week position with a workload of approximately 0.5 FTE (12 lessons of 50 minutes). We warmly invite interested candidates to apply for this role.

\nWhat does the job entail<\/strong>
\nTo prepare and deliver geography lessons for the lower school (and potentially upper school) at Zaanlands Lyceum. You have a positive attitude and are a committed and enthusiastic teacher who inspires the development of our pupils and contributes to the school's results. Furthermore, you have an open approach and drive educational innovation together with your colleagues.

\nAbout the school<\/strong>
\nIn the heart of Zaandam is the oldest secondary school in the Zaan region: the Zaanlands Lyceum.
\nThe school caters for approximately 1100 pupils and 135 members of staff. The Zaanlands Lyceum is a public school offering HAVO, Athenaeum, and Gymnasium education. The school is open to all pupils, regardless of their beliefs or background. Pupils respect each other's backgrounds and convictions. Education is aimed at developing the talents of our pupils and staff to their maximum potential in an inspiring and engaging environment. The spacious and bright school building is situated on very extensive grounds with trees, plants and lawns and includes a complete outdoor sports facility.
