Does setting up a new LOB (Guidance on Study and Career Choice) curriculum focused on customisation bring you joy? Are you strong in communication and organisation, possess excellent digital skills, and are you also flexible? Then we are looking for you!<\/p><p><strong>The function<br><\/strong>As a teacher and coordinator of Career Orientation and Guidance (LOB) within the Go! Orientation Track, you are responsible for the development, implementation, evaluation, and safeguarding of a high-quality and cohesive LOB curriculum for the Zaandam location. Together with the coordinators of the Alkmaar and Hoorn locations, you form a team within which intensive collaboration takes place. <\/p><p>You provide LOB (Career and Study Choice Guidance) lessons and support students with their career development, study skills, and future-oriented choices. In your coordinating role, you ensure alignment, quality assurance, and further professionalisation of the LOB programme across the three locations. Additionally, you will support and guide colleagues in the implementation of LOB and initiate improvement processes based on educational developments and evaluations. You will also act as the location coordinator in Hoorn, responsible for the organisational and substantive alignment within the location. Furthermore, you will mentor a class and support students in their academic progress, personal development, and well-being.<\/p><p><strong>About the team<br><\/strong>You will be working for the Start bij Go! Orientation Programme sector. You will join a multidisciplinary, committed, and learning team of teachers and support professionals. We work result-orientedly, actively share knowledge and feedback, and collectively build a safe pedagogical climate. Collegiality, professional development, and results-oriented collaboration are central; you will be given the space and trust to demonstrate and further develop your professional skills.<\/p><h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Job requirements<\/h2><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Your profile<\/strong><\/p><ul><li><p class=\"MsoListParagraphCxSpFirst\">You have a teaching qualification.;<\/p><\/li><li><p class=\"MsoListParagraphCxSpFirst\">You have demonstrable affinity with our target group, particularly with students on lower learning pathways and those with additional support needs.;<\/p><\/li><li><p class=\"MsoListParagraphCxSpFirst\">You work in a coaching style, are flexible, and can easily switch between (differentiated) instruction and individual guidance.;<\/p><\/li><li><p class=\"MsoListParagraphCxSpFirst\">You have experience in tailored career guidance and engaging stakeholders to prevent dropout.;<\/p><\/li><li><p class=\"MsoListParagraphCxSpFirst\">You build trust, address issues where necessary, and work with the student to identify feasible next steps; you can handle resistance well and make talents visible.;<\/p><\/li><li><p class=\"MsoListParagraphCxSpFirst\">You are proactive, independent and enterprising, but also a team player who helps strengthen education and LOB quality.;<\/p><\/li><li><p>You own a Category B driving licence and a car.<\/p><\/li><\/ul><p><strong>Our offer<br><\/strong>The field of work and your profession are constantly changing. If you do not have a teaching qualification for vocational secondary education (mbo), you will be classified as a teacher in scale LB (\u20ac3,713 to \u20ac5,495 gross, based on full-time employment).
