The Jan van Egmond Lyceum (grammar school, atheneum and havo) has a strong focus on art & culture, science and sports. Our school has existed for over 100 years and is reinventing itself. The world around us is changing rapidly. So are our pupils. And at the same time, we need to help them continue to understand the world and hold their own in it. And we need you for that!<\/div>

We are looking for a passionate Design & Technology teacher who can convey their enthusiasm for the subject to the pupils. Are you someone who pays attention to individual pupils, enjoys collaboration, and organises activities outside of the classroom? Then we are looking for you! We are a small subject group with enthusiastic colleagues who are looking forward to working together. At our secondary school, you can use your talents to reach all pupils and strengthen our grammar school stream.<\/div>

Furthermore, in the lower school at our JEL Academy, we offer modules in Classical Languages & Culture and other modules. Here you have the space to shape your ideas and subject-related creativity.<\/div>
\u00a0<\/div>
With our focus on arts and culture, our language courses go beyond mere language and literature; art and indeed culture are integral. Within classical languages, we therefore organise numerous cultural activities and excursions.<\/div>

What do you bring?<\/div>
You hold a teaching qualification or are studying towards one. You possess good pedagogical and didactic skills and have an affinity for teaching pupils in the lower and\/or upper years of grammar school.<\/div>
You understand that education can and must be different, and you are happy to contribute to this together with colleagues. You follow educational developments closely and are proficient with new (interactive) media.<\/div>
