During the technical practical lessons for the Services and Products profile, pupils work with different types of machines, tools, and materials. This requires extra attention and help from a technical teaching assistant, which is indispensable. Therefore, we are looking for the very best technical teaching assistant in the region, and we want you!&nbsp;&nbsp;<br>\n<br>\n<strong>What will you do?&nbsp;<\/strong><br>\nYou will support the teacher during the lessons for the \u2018Product Design and Improvement\u2019 curriculum section.&nbsp;<br>\nYou ensure that all materials, tools, and machinery are ready for use for the lessons that will be given that day.&nbsp;<br>\nYou ensure the workspace and machine room are tidy at the end of the working day.&nbsp;<br>\nIn consultation with the lecturer, you will be responsible for purchasing materials.&nbsp;<br>\n&nbsp;<br>\n<strong>What do you bring?&nbsp;<\/strong><br>\nYou are a qualified technical teaching assistant. You have:&nbsp;\n<ul>\n<li>A passion for your profession and for working with our target group.<\/li><li>An open and inspiring attitude with which you can motivate students.&nbsp;<\/li><li>The willingness to work with colleagues to bring out the best in our pupils, working in an evidence-informed way.<\/li><li>Supervising small groups of pupils in acquiring practical skills and completing assignments.<\/li><li>Providing technical guidance and instructions on the safe use of machinery, tools, and materials.&nbsp;<\/li><li>To contribute ideas with the teacher on the structure and improvement of practical assignments and demonstrations.&nbsp;<\/li><li>Relevant vocational training (or demonstrable level 3 work and intellectual capacity).&nbsp;<\/li><li>You work well with teachers and actively contribute to discussions about the content and organisation of practical education.<\/li><\/ul>\n<strong>What do we offer you?<\/strong>&nbsp;<br>\nAt SG Newton, you get the chance to truly make a difference.
