Are you looking for a place where you can share your passion for music with pupils at the start of their journey of discovery? As our new music teacher, you will be the guide in the world of sounds and ensemble playing. You know how to create a safe and vibrant atmosphere in which every pupil dares to let their voice be heard.<\/em><br>\n<br>\n<strong>What will you do?<\/strong><br>\n<ul>\n<li>You teach 7 lesson hours per week to the bridge classes (HAVO-VWO).<\/li><li>You are responsible for fundamental musical training. You directly translate theory into practical music-making.<\/li><li>You create a safe and energetic learning environment where pupils dare to sing and play.<\/li><li>Organising musical activities, such as overseeing Music Night and Night at the Park.<\/li><\/ul>\nYou will join a department with one colleague.<br>\n<br>\n<strong>Working at Werenfridus<\/strong><br>\nWorking with us (part of the Tabor College) means working at a school rich in tradition yet ambitious. Together with the team leader, the team is responsible for the educational outcomes and the pedagogical and didactic approach within the department. We work with five teams, namely: the foundation year, the lower secondary HAVO and VWO streams, and the upper secondary HAVO and VWO streams. Based on your affinity with the target group and the organisation's needs, you will be assigned a place in one of the teams in consultation.<br>\n<br>\n<strong>School plan<\/strong><br>\nThis school year, we launched the new school plan (see video below). The basis of this school plan is to support pupils to become engaged, independent and motivated world citizens. We want to do this by providing meaningful education\n with an emphatic place for formative action and the basic skills of language and maths, digital literacy, citizenship.&nbsp;<br>\n<br>\n<strong>What do we expect from you?<\/strong><br>\n<ul>\n<li>You have an (almost) completed music teacher training.<\/li><li>Availability for 0.28 FTE.
