Due to this expansion, we are seeking new talent to strengthen our team. \nFor the subject of art and design, we are looking for a passionate teacher who can enthuse students for the subject and enjoys collaborating. You will join a department with two other art and design colleagues, with whom you will work together to further develop strong and inspiring art and design education. In addition, you will also work closely with the drama teachers. Both subjects are offered as final examination subjects at Het Saenredam.

\nVisual arts also play an important role within the Creative Economy, one of the three clusters at Het Saenredam. Within this cluster, pupils develop their creativity and skills, which they can apply broadly, such as creative and investigative thinking.\nIn combination with the subject of entrepreneurship, which has been on offer since the first year, pupils learn to practically apply and further develop their ideas.

\nWe are looking for someone who not only enjoys teaching but also wants to contribute to the further innovation of the programme. Someone who wants to think about the content and development of the subject together with colleagues, is passionate in the classroom and practical in its execution.\nIn short: a visual arts teacher who cares deeply about the subject and wants to build modern and meaningful education together with colleagues.

Job requirements<\/h2>We provide our pupils with an education in which you, as an art teacher, lay a solid foundation in general knowledge and skills. In addition, pupils receive education in the area of citizenship education (think of debating skills, philosophy, humanistic education). In our vision, citizenship education is so crucial that we want to give it considerable weight. We train critical citizens who are not afraid to question things. We also want to pay a lot of attention to inclusivity. We want to work on empathy. Debating, drama, and Deep Democracy support this.

\nAt present, the vacancy comprises 2 hours of CKV and 4 hours of visual arts. This can be adjusted in consultation.
