From the upcoming academic year, we are seeking a PE teacher who will not only teach students how to play sports, but also instil in them the joy of collaboration and pushing their boundaries.<\/em><br>\n<br>\n<strong>What will you do?<\/strong><br>\nAt the Werenfridus, you'll be given the space to truly make a difference for pupils just starting out at secondary school.\n<ul>\n<li>You give 25<strong> <\/strong><strong>fewer lessons per week <\/strong>(full-time) to our HAVO and VWO students.<\/li><li>You will become part of a close-knit group of professionals.<\/li><li>You are a <strong>\u2018host\u2019 in the classroom<\/strong>you create a safe environment in which pupils take ownership of their own learning process (formative assessment).<\/li><\/ul>\n<br>\n<strong>Working at Werenfridus<\/strong><br>\nWorking with us (part of the Tabor College) means working at a school rich in tradition yet ambitious. Together with the team leader, the team is responsible for the educational outcomes and the pedagogical-didactic approach within the department. We work with five teams: the foundation year, lower secondary (HAVO and VWO), and upper secondary (HAVO and VWO). Based on your affinity with the target group and the organisation's needs, you will be assigned to a team in consultation.<br>\n<br>\n<strong>School plan<\/strong><br>\nThis school year, we launched the new school plan (see video below). The basis of this school plan is to support pupils to become engaged, independent and motivated world citizens. We want to do this by providing meaningful education\n with an emphatic place for formative action and the basic skills of language and maths, digital literacy, citizenship.&nbsp;<br>\n<br>\n<strong>Leerhuis Sport: Your playing field<\/strong><br>\nAt the Werenfridus, you have everything at your disposal to provide top-tier education. We have:\n<ul>\n<li><strong>A beautiful large private sports field<\/strong>, right on our grounds, where you can handle multiple classes at once.<\/li><li><strong>4 modern sports halls<\/strong>, each with its own theme for maximum variation in your lessons.<\/li><\/ul>\n<br>\n<strong>Deepening with BSM&nbsp;<\/strong><br>\nMovement, Sport and Society (MSS) is an exam subject here. In this subject, students learn more about coaching, nutrition, and the societal role of sport. The final year students will also explore other sports outside of school.<br>\n<br>\n<strong>What do we expect from you?<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li>You are in possession of a <strong>First-degree qualification<\/strong>.<\/li><li>You are an educator at heart. You see the students and the students see you.
