At Oscar Romero, we believe that sports and social skills go hand in hand.<\/em>

\nFor the coming academic year, we are looking for a versatile PE teacher who also teaches KIC lessons with passion to our junior pupils.

\nKIC (Strength in Control)<\/strong>
\nThe KIC training is a physical resilience and social skills training, based on the Rock & Water programme. Don't have a KIC certificate yet? No problem, we offer the opportunity to obtain one.
\n
\nMovement and Sport<\/strong>
\nOur pupils can opt for the Sports Pathway, participate in sporting tournaments both inside and outside of school, discover various sporting activities through Tabor X-Tra!, and choose PE\/Sports Science as an exam subject. Furthermore, we are a Top Sports Talent School, enabling young top athletes to optimally combine their education and elite sports with us.

\nWorking at Oscar Romero<\/strong>
\nOscar Romero is a school for pre-vocational secondary education (mavo), senior general secondary education (havo), and pre-university education (vwo). At Oscar Romero, we work in teams and look out for each other. Our motto is therefore: \u201cto read in a good atmosphere<\/strong>\u201d.

\nForward-looking<\/strong>
\nMore and more pupils are finding their way to our school, leading to a pleasing increase in the number of applications. We are currently an aspiring Dalton school. Our ambition is to be a fully-fledged Dalton school by 2029. With us, you will have the opportunity to help build this concept (freedom, responsibility, cooperation). Do you have no prior experience with Dalton? Not to worry, we will guide you in this.

\nPleasant cooperation in small teaching teams<\/strong>
\nWithin Oscar Romero, you work in a small teaching team with colleagues who teach the same classes. You know the pupils through and through, which allows you to guide each pupil optimally. Once every fortnight there is a departmental meeting; of course this is taken into\n of course, we take this into account in your schedule.
