That is why we are looking for the very best teachers in the region, and we want you!<br>\nWe are currently looking for an art and design teacher with a second-grade teaching qualification (0.75 FTE). You are able to switch between art and design lessons with ease, you are pedagogically strong, and your classroom management is in order.<br>\n<br>\n<strong>What will you do?<\/strong><br>\nAs a teacher of drawing and handicrafts, you teach pupils in the junior years and our non-native speaking pupils. You have complete freedom to shape your own lessons and maintain close contact with colleagues from the arts and culture department.<br>\n&nbsp;<br>\nYour duties will mainly include: developing and delivering inspiring and structured art and craft lessons in the lower school.&nbsp;<br>\nYou inspire and motivate young people with new, fresh ideas and techniques. Your teaching competencies come to life as you help our students develop in a dynamic, creative world.<br>\n&nbsp;<br>\n<strong>What do you bring?<\/strong><br>\nYou are a qualified art and craft teacher, or are studying to be one. You have:\n<ul>\n<li>A passion for your profession and for working with our target group.<\/li><li>Experience in working with 2D and 3D.<\/li><li>An open and inspiring attitude with which you can motivate students.<\/li><li>Fancy turning your creative ideas into a continuous teaching programme.<\/li><li>The willingness to work together with colleagues to bring out the best in our pupils, using an evidence-informed approach.<\/li><\/ul>\n<strong>What do we offer you?<\/strong><br>\nAt SG Newton, you'll have the opportunity to make a real difference. You will start with a temporary contract with the clear intention of converting this to a permanent appointment upon satisfactory performance.
