Here at Werenfridus, we are looking for from\n<strong>coming school year<\/strong> A Dutch teacher who understands that our subject goes beyond d\/t rules. We are looking for someone who shows students in the lower and upper years (havo\/vwo) that language is the key to the world. Whether it's a razor-sharp debate, a beautiful literary analysis, or strengthening our students' basic skills: you will bring the Dutch language to life.<\/em><br>\n<br>\n<strong>What will you do?<\/strong><br>\nAt the Werenfridus, you'll be given the space to truly make a difference for pupils just starting out at secondary school.\n<ul>\n<li>You give about 15 lessons per week to our HAVO and VWO students.<\/li><li>In addition to Dutch lessons, we also expect a small commitment (two lessons per week) in vocational language support.<\/li><li>You will become part of a close-knit group of professionals.<\/li><li>You are a \u2018host\u2019 in the classroom: you create a safe foundation within which pupils take ownership of their own learning process (formative working).<\/li><\/ul>\nInitially, this vacancy is for a temporary period, but there is a prospect of permanent hours.&nbsp;<br>\n<br>\n<strong>Working at Werenfridus<\/strong><br>\nWorking with us means working at a school steeped in tradition yet ambitious. Together with the team leader, the team is responsible for the educational outcomes and the pedagogical and didactic approach within the department. We work with five teams, namely: the foundation year, the lower secondary HAVO and VWO streams, and the upper secondary HAVO and VWO streams. Based on your affinity with the target group and the organisation's needs, you will be assigned a place in one of the teams in consultation.<br>\n<br>\n<strong>School plan<\/strong><br>\nThis school year, we launched the new school plan (see video below). The basis of this school plan is to support pupils to become engaged, independent and motivated world citizens. We want to do this by providing meaningful education\n with an emphatic place for formative action and the basic skills of language and maths, digital literacy, citizenship.&nbsp;<br>\n<br>\n<strong>What do we expect from you?<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li>You (almost) own a <strong>First or second-degree qualification.<\/strong><\/li><li>You are an educator at heart. You see the students and the students see you.
