A lot is already happening. The key lies in a good alignment between education and the labour market: it makes the customer journey clearer, more accessible and effective.<br><br>\u2018Good cooperation starts with knowing each other's perspectives. That helps us to shape the guidance of (lateral) entrants to education more effectively and in a more targeted way,\u2019 says Brigitte Boots, programme manager of the Education Region Hollands Noorden.<br>\u2018It is essential that education and the labour market find each other and work together in this process. This is the only way to ensure that newcomers find a good place, with an eye for their background, talents and development needs\u2019.\u2019<br><br>According to project leader of the Hollands Noorden Education Counter, Jasper Kooper, the results are a nice step towards better services, precisely by connecting existing initiatives. Seth Hielema of the Realisation Unit also confirms this: \u2018My expectation is that the Education Counter can really make a difference, especially in orientation and matching\u2019. With intake broker Roswitha Fens, the Education Counter offers tailor-made services for anyone considering a switch to education in our region.<br><br>Brigitte Boots concludes with satisfaction: \u2018This meeting is a start as far as I am concerned.\u2019 Sabine Weustink (RL) (WSP Zuid-Kennemerland-IJmond) adds \u2018Totally agree. We've wanted to do this together from the Work Centre with the Education Region for some time.\u2019<br><br>\ud83d\ude4f Thank you to all involved for sharing knowledge, experiences and ideas.
