One of the studies within Education Region Hollands Noorden therefore focuses on the question of which teachers we will need in five to 10 years' time.<br><br>The starting point is the current situation in education. From there, we examine whether we are taking the right steps now to meet future demand for sufficient and well-trained teachers, both in quantity and quality.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In this study, we include different perspectives:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>What knowledge, skills and qualities do schools in our region expect from their future colleagues?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Scientific insights, both national and international, on the changing role of the teacher.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Focus on practice: how can we best prepare future teachers not only in training but also in daily school practice?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>We are walking this path together with the Hogeschool van Amsterdam (HvA) and researchers from the region, mapping out what expectations schools have and how professionalisation and guidance can be tailored to them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The goal<\/strong><br>The aim is to get a concrete picture of the teacher of the future.
